Why Being Good is Good Enough

One of the speaking industry’s best-kept secrets is that most of the time, good is good enough.

Often times as speakers, we are our own worst critic. We have this voice in our head that tells us that we could’ve emphasized certain words better or used a different hand gesture, or that the lighting wasn’t quite right.

This mindset of needing to be perfect on stage and having the best stage presence will only prevent you from getting on those stages, and I’m here to tell you to stop letting this perfectionism get in your way.

Event planners, event owners, decision-makers are often not looking for the best speaker with the best stage presence. They’re looking for the right speaker for their audience. In this video, I talk about why being Good is Good Enough, and what exactly being “good enough” entails.
